How We Got Started
Our Story
Greater Grace Chapel had its origins back in 2016 when Pastor Al and about 30 people felt the call to form a new fellowship, one that would truly be and remain different. One that would be “real” and whose people would be “authentic.” That vision came about when in November 2016 GGC of Lynchburg, Va. held its 1st service in Timberlake Chapel. After handing off the Church in Virginia, Pastor Al and Dawn came to Volusia County and in June of 2022, GGC of Daytona Beach became a reality. While non-denominational, GGC-DB is part of an Association, GGAOMC. (Greater Grace Association of Ordained Ministers and Churches) Our Association has 3 Churches, One in Virginia, North Carolina and now in Florida, along with 10 Ordained Fully Licensed Associates.
